Werder Bremen – Hannover

Werder Bremen welcomes Hannover 96 in a match from the opening round of the German Bundesliga. Let’s take a look in our vip soccer bets for this clash.

Last season Werder had an average season, finishing 11th in the league standings with 42 points and a record of 10 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats. The team did not perform very consistent in the most of the season, being far away from qualifying for the European competitions. Now the goal is to do better and at least move into the Top 10.

During the summer transfer market Werder acquired the services of the Dutch midfielder Davy Klaassen. The club paid 13.50 million euro to Everton for his services. They also signed Yuya Osako from Koln, Felix Beijmo from Djurgarden and Martin Harnik from Hannover 96. With free transfers at Bremen arrived the decorated veteran Claudio Pizarro and the attacking midfielder Kevin Mohwald.

Hannover 96 finished 13th in the Bundesliga last season, which was not something to remember. Hannover won 39 points and finished with a record of 10 wins, 9 draws and 15 defeats. But for them everything would be fine, if they avoid relegation once again.

On the market Hannover acquired the services of Hamburger’s defensive midfielder Walace, paying HSV 6 million euro for him. The club also signed the left winger Genki Haraguchi from Hertha and the centre back Josip Elez from the Croatian Rijeka. Hannover also signed three players on loan deals – Stoke City’s Kevin Wimmer, Hamburger’s Bobby Wood and Arsenal’s Takuma Asano.

These are our vip soccer bets for the Bundesliga clash from the first round between Werder Bremen and Hannover 96. It’s difficult to pick a favourite between these two teams as they were on pretty much a similar level last season. Werder have the advantage to play at home, though.
