Valencia again showed class, the drama was in Seville

Valencia’s brilliant performance since the start of the season continued with a new convincing victory. The “bats” defeated Zaragoza with 4: 1 and a total score of 6: 1 qualified for the 1/8-finals in the King’s Cup. The surprise came in Seville, where local Betis won a 3: 5 loss from second division Cádiz and dropped out of the tournament.

In Mestya, Santi Mina opened for the hosts in the 29th minute after a good combination with Simone Dzza. Former Celta’s footballer also scored the second goal in the 59th minute, and Dzazza again had a merit. The Italians shoot very hard, the guest goalkeeper knocked, but the ball fell into Santiago and he did not make a mistake.
In the 68th minute Dzuzza gave Ruben Ibanez to the penalty area and technically scored 3: 0. At the end of the match, defender Ruben Vézo was right after a corner kick, and Jorge Pembo hit the honor goal for Zaragoza.

Bettis did not expect many problems against Cadiz after winning the first 2-1 match as a guest. The Segunda team, however, took a lead in the 3 rd minute with a veteran David Baral. The hosts of Sevilla were equalized with a defeat by Riyad Budebus from a foul. By the middle of the half, the opponents exchanged another goal by Daniel Romera for Kadis and Christian Tayo for Bethes.
The goal fiesta continued. In the 26th minute, the guests received a penalty that Aitor Garcia realized, and shortly before the break, Romera detected a centering from the right flank and made the task of “verdiblancos” very complicated.

Tayo in the 65th minute returned Bettis’s hopes with a beautiful performance, but Sevilli needed at least one more goal to qualify ahead. Instead, in the 78th minute Ivan Ketzoyevich decided everything in favor of Cadiz. Interestingly, the guests scored 5 goals in the field of the Primera team, given that at the start of the Segunda Division season they scored 14 times in 16 games.
