Two of the big favorites are still in the league of the Europa League

Two of Europe’s biggest favorites – Milan and Arsenal – will meet at the 1/8-final of the tournament. This puts the draw for the second round of direct elimination in the second most powerful European club tournament, towed in Nyon. Milan and Arsenal have met so far six times in European tournaments, with two teams winning two victories, and two of these clashes ended in a draw.

CSKA (Moscow) by Georgi Milanov, who remains the only Bulgarian representative in the race, will argue with Lyon. Another of the favorite teams – Borussia (Dortmund), fell with the RB (Salzburg).

The two-time Atletico Madrid player will play with Lokomotiv (Moscow) and the other Spanish player – Athletic Bilbao – will fight for a place on the 1/4-final with Olympia Marseille. Lazio – Dinamo (Kiev), RB (Leipzig) – Zenit and Sporting – Victoria (Pilsen) form the remaining pairs of the 1/8-finals. The matches will be played on 8 and 15 March. The teams that were drawn first will host the first matches.

This year’s final match will be played on May 16 in Lyon.
