Twente welcomes PSV

Twente welcomes PSV in a game from the first round of the Dutch Eredivisie. Let’s take a look at this clash at the De Grolsch Veste in the city of Enschede in our winning soccer predictions.

The former champions Twente return to the Eredivisie after winning the Eerste Divisie in a pretty convincing way. This club had some serious problems in the last few years, which led to a dissapointing relegation to the second tier of Dutch football. But now they are back to the Eredivisie, so everything looks fine once again.

This season Twente are going to be managed by a new coach. This is the 35-years old Gonzalo Garcia, who was an assistant of the previous manager. He’s really young, but let’s wait and see what he can offer.

On the transfer market Twente made only free transfers and loan deals. Paul Verhaegh, Emil Berggreen, Julio Pleguezuelo and Lindon Selahi were signed with free deals, while Fiorentina’s Rafik Zekhnini and Sevilla’s Giorgi Aburjania were loaned for the season.

PSV on the other hand will once again play for the title, after losing it from Ajax last season. Mark van Bommel’s team made a good season in the Eredivisie, but Ajax’s one was slightly better. Now PSV will have another chance to triumph with the gold medals.

Mark van Bommel continues to manage the team. The club’s most expensive signing this summer is the Portuguese winger Bruma, who was signed by RB Leipzig. Meanwhile PSV strengthtened its defense with Stuttgart’s Timo Baumgartl, while Olivier Boscagli was signed from Nice as another option for the left back. PSV also brought back to Eindhoven the veteran Ibrahim Afellay.

In same time we shall mention that the club was left by the striker Luuk de Jong, who moved to Sevilla. Meanwhile the left back Angelino moved back to Manchester City, while Aziz Behich was sold to the Turkish Basaksehir.

These are our winning soccer predictions for the Eredivisie fixture between Twente and PSV on Saturday. Good luck.
