Romero wants a transfer in January

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero wants to be sold in January. The reason for this is that he has little chance of appearing, and that does not suit him just before the World Cup in Russia next year.

Romero is David De Hea’s hardback reserve and can not fight his Spanish team-mate for a place under the frame. This season the Argentine recorded exactly 4 matches – 2 for the League Cup and 2 for the Champions League.

For the time being, Romero is the first choice for Argentina’s Jorge Sampaoli, but this may change if he goes all season on the bench. At the same time, however, Jose Mourinho is not particularly inclined to part with the Argentine. The coach wants to have two good goalkeepers in his squad to be calm for this post in the title battle until the end of the season.
