Real Sociedad pays 3m euros for an 18-year-old goalkeeper
Goalkeeper Zarya (Lugansk) Andriy Lunin is near a transfer to Real Sociedad. Representatives of the Spanish club have already traveled to Kiev where they arranged all the details of the deal. According to Ukrainian media, it will be worth 3 million.
Initially from Annette they hoped to take the 18-year-old talent immediately, but Zarya had asked to rely on it until the end of the season. The two clubs will most likely understand Lunin to sign the Basques right now, but to stay for another 6 months in Lugansk as a pass. Guardian parents were invited to San Sebastian and met the conditions that would be given to their son. Lunin fired in the men’s football team with Dnipro in the season 2016/17, and after the Dnipropetrovsk club went bankrupt, he went to Zarya. In the autumn he impressed with his appearances in the group stage of League Europe and caught the eye of the scouts of Real Sociedad.
The Basques rely on Lunin to compete with the title-holder Heronimo Rui and even replace him if the Argentine leaves in the summer.
