Mourinho wipes his hands for the rift between Conte and Lewis

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho plans to make an unexpected blow to his former Chelsea club. According to the Daily Express, the Portuguese will bid for David Lewis, led by the breakdown information between the Brazilian and Antonio Conte. The London manager left Lewis out of the group just for the Manchester United derby, and later said the future of Stamford Bridge’s central defender could not be considered safe. The player himself was very dissatisfied with Conte’s decision and behavior.

According to Express, Mourinho follows the situation very carefully and is ready to take its course in January.

Interestingly, Mourinho and Lewis worked one season in Chelsea. In 2013/14, the Brazilian started only in 15 Premier League games, more often used in the midfield because the Special was preferring to bet John Terry and Gary Cahill in the center of defense. At the end of the campaign, Luis was sold to PSG for a record 50 million pounds. Mourinho, however, was impressed by David’s performance last season.

In the summer, the Portuguese attracted another former Chelsea player – Nemanja Matice, and made an unsuccessful attempt to take Villaian.
