Metz hosts Monaco

Metz hosts Monaco in a match from the second round of the French Ligue 1. This game is going to be played at the Stade Saint-Symphorien on Saturday. Let’s take a look in our vip soccer bets.

Metz started the new season with a draw away from home. Frederic Antonetti’s boys visited Strasbourg and won a point with a 1-1 draw. Adrien Thomasson opened the score for Strasbourg, but the Senegalese striker Habibou Mouhamadou equalised for Metz after an assist from Opa Nguette.

During the second half Frederic Antonetti tried to inspire his team for the win, giving some playing time to Ibrahima Niane, Marvin Gakpa and Victorien Angban from the bench. But at the end, Metz didn’t score a second goal.

Still, winning a point away from home is a decent result for sure.

For Monaco the beginning of the new season was not that good. Leonardo Jardim’s team suffered a heavy 0-3 loss at home from the hands of Olympique Lyonnais. But it was not really that surprising, given the fact that Monaco’s midfielder Cesc Fabregas got sent off after just 30 minutes of playing.

Before Fabregas’ red card, Moussa Dembele opened the score for Lyonnais. After the Spanish midfielder got sent off, Les Gones scored two more goals. Memphis Depay made it 0-2, while Lucas Tousart scored the third one in Benjamin Lecomte’s net. Given the fact that last season Monaco were fighting against relegation, surely the club’s fans are a little bit worried after such a start of the new campaign.

These are our vip soccer bets for the Ligue 1 clash between Metz and Monaco on Saturday. For Metz this is a first home game for the new season, while Monaco will try to get back on their feet after the heavy loss against Olympique Lyonnais. But they will have to do it without the suspended Cesc Fabregas.
