Mario Gomez will play again in Stuttgart

Striker Mario Gomez returned to Stuttgart to win the 2007 German title. So far, the 32-year-old German national carries the Wolfsburg team. His contract is until the summer of 2020. DPA reported that the transfer price of the top scorer is three million euros. Mario Gomez started his career in the Stuttgart youth team and debuted for Germany’s national team in 2007.

“I’m very happy to come home again, where everything started for me, I promised to do everything to keep the team in the elite,” Gomez commented. Stuttgart, who returned to the First Bundesliga last summer, is on the unenviable 14th position in the standings. Mario Gomez moved to Bayern Munich in 2009, then became a footballer of Fiorentina and Besiktas. Germany’s national team has 31 goals in 71 games.
