Inter – Roma

The big derby of the weekend in the Serie A will be played at the Stadio San Siro, where we are going to see a clash between Inter and Roma. This is a game which traditionally offers a lot of goals and excitement for the fans.

Inter need to win this derby, if they want to keep dream of return to the Champions League. The Milan giants are falling with 6 points behind the third Napoli, so they need to win as much games as possible until the end of the season, if they want to finish among the Top 3.

Roma on the other hand remain at second place in the table, falling with 7 points behind the leader Juventus. But if Roma lose in Milan this weekend, they could lose the second place by Napoli. In the same time Napoli play against Atalanta and they are just two points behind Roma in the standings.

Inter’s manager Stefano Pioli will be without the services of the central defender Joao Miranda, who is suspended for the derby. Ionut Radu remains sidelined with an injury. Geoffrey Kondogbia, Jeison Murillo and Marcelo Brozovic are doubtful for the clash, so they will probably have a late fitness test to determine if they are going to be avaliable for selection.

Roma’s head coach Luciano Spalletti can’t use the services of the Italian international Alessandro Florenzi, who is out until the next season with a serious knee injury. One of Roma’s leaders Daniele De Rossi is doubtful for the game with a calf injury, so we are going to see if the midfielder could participate in the game. Emanuele Spinozzi is also under a question for the team from the capital.

Both teams won four of their last five games, so we could say that we should expect a game between two sides in a good shape.
