Ibra started negotiations for a new New Year contract

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who recently returned to play after a seven-month absence due to a severe knee injury, may extend his stay at Old Trafford even further. The current Swede contract, signed at the end of August, expires next summer, with the expectation that the 36-year-old Gladys would continue his career in the United States. According to the Sun, however, Ibrahimovic and José Mourinho have agreed to sit at the negotiating table around the New Year, and it is very possible for the striker to stay one more season in Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic has an enormous desire to add the Premier League title to his rich biography. Mourinho recently shared his opinion that he thinks he can safely play at the highest level in 40 years.

The club has already shown its great support for Ibrahimovic, signing his current contract three months before his real comeback.
