Fiorentina welcomes Napoli

Fiorentina welcomes Napoli in a match from the opening first round of the Serie A. Stay with us, because we are going to take a look at this clash in our soccer matches tomorrow.

After taking the Fiorentina job in April, now Vincenzo Montella had the chance to work with the team during the summer and prepare it for the new season. La Viola finished the previous campaign at 16th place, which was totally unacceptable for the club’s ambitions. Clearly Montella had a lot of work to do, so it’d be interesting to see how Fiorentina will look during the new campaign.

On the transfer market La Viola made some interesting moves. The club acquired Bologna’s midfielder Erick Pulgar, while the well known striker Kevin-Prince Boateng was signed from Sassuolo. The club also bought the young Serbian left back Aleksa Terzic, who should be an investment for the future. Of course, Fiorentina’s most exciting summer signing is the legendary Franck Ribery. Bayern Munich’s ex-star signed two years contract, but most probably it’s too early for him to play on Saturday.

After finishing second last season, Napoli will once again try to challenge Juventus for the title, although we all know that it’s going to be very difficult. The club kept Carlo Ancelotti for another season, so the fans will keep their hopes of some magic created by this great manager.

On the transfer market Napoli made a huge hit, signing the Mexican star Hirving Lozano from PSV. The winger performed in an impressive way for PSV and Mexico and he’s regarded as a very promising player. Meanwhile Napoli also signed Roma’s centre back Kostas Manolas, Fenerbahce’s midfielder Eljif Elmas and Empoli’s right back Giovanni Di Lorenzo, so clearly Carlo Ancelotti will have some new weapons for the new campaign.

That’s our preview for the game between Fiorentina and Napoli in our soccer matches tomorrow. Wish you good luck.
