Chelsea subtracts 100 million for Coutinho
Chelsea plans to invest £ 100m to attract Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona next summer, British newspaper informs.
Londoners will take this step if they sell their big star Eden Azar as they all expect. The Belgian footballer is associated with a transfer to Real Madrid.
Azar refuses to resume his contract with Chelsea at this stage. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.
It is believed that Chelsea has just stopped at Coutinho as the replacement of Azar.
The Brazilian was one of Liverpool’s leading players before going to Barcelona last winter for the sum of 140 million euros.
For his part, Barcelona can get Neimar back from the PSG if he sells Coutinho. The Catalans are willing to take the 26-year-old footballer back to Camp Nou, and that is much more likely to happen if Barcelona has the financial opportunity.
