Chelsea’s legend Frank Lampard didn’t have the easiest beginning since his move to the Stamford Bridge from Derby County. Still pretty much unexperienced as a manager, Lampard had some bad results, but it’s completely normal. The important thing is that Chelsea are starting to stabilize their performance lately.

In their last three games in the Premier League, Chelsea won three times and only lost against the leader Liverpool at home. In the previous round the Europa League champions travelled to face Southampton at the St. Mary’s, securing a convincing 4-1 win. The new star Tammy Abraham scored his 8th league goal, while Mount, Kante and Batshuayi also scored. It was a really good game from Chelsea. The Blues are in a run of four consecutive wins in all competition, so maybe Lampard’s work is starting to give results.

Two weeks ago Newcastle United managed to escape the relegation zone, winning against Manchester United at home. With a good performance in defense, Steve Bruce’s team secured a 1-0 win against the Red Devils. The midfielder Matthew Longstaff scored the only goal in the game after 72 minutes of playing.

In our English Premier League predictions we see that Chelsea are starting to find the right rhythm after a difficult start of the season. We think that against Newcastle United they have a very good chance to continue in this way. But they must be careful against the Magpies – remember that Newcastle achieved a win during their visit to Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the season. They can be dangerous.
