Bayer (L) bought a Brazilian teenager for 20m euros
Bayer (Leverkusen) drew Brazilian teenager from Vasco da Gamma Paulinho for 20m euros. He will join the Germans on his 18th birthday on July 15th. The contract is for a period of five years.
Paulinho was asked by several clubs after his debut in the Brazilian league at the age of 16. “The attraction of Paulinho is a great success for us,” said President Michael Shade.
Paululinos is currently recovering from a broken arm, but is expected to be completely healthy when he arrives at Leverkusen.
“Emerson, Lucio, Georgino, Ze Roberto and Giovanni were fantastic players whose international career began in Bayer Leverkusen.” The club has a great reputation in my native country, and everybody knows it as a club in Europe where many Brazilians have been happy, “said Pauline.
