Barcelona presents another new addition

Colombian defender Palmeiras Jeri Mina arrives in Spain today and tomorrow will be presented as a new addition to Barcelona, the AS newspaper writes. Transfers and statistics sites in Brazil and all over South America have already indicated it as a new addition to the Catalans. It is said that the two sides have agreed on a transfer amount of about 12.3 million euros. It is not reported whether this amount includes compensation for the Santa Fe club in Colombia, where Mina has started her professional career.

The 23-year-old footballer has signed a personal contract for four years, and the release clause is 100 million euros.

Jerry Fernando Mina Gonzalez, as the player’s full name, is 195 centimeters high and was a transfer goal for Ernesto Valverde in the summer, but then there was no deal. He has his career in Deportivo Pasto, but only plays as a teenager and amateur, and then moves to Santa Fe in 2014. He currently has 9 games and scored three goals with Columbia’s national jersey.
Interestingly, as a teenager he did not make an impression and was never summoned to teenage national teams. It is only in 2016 that they call him in the youth national team up to 23 years to participate in the Olympic football qualifiers.
